Testimonials: Feedback from Current & Past Students

"Piano lessons are the best part of the week!" - Amy, 10, Beginner Piano

"I have been taking my daughter to piano lessons with Alice Haylock since September this year. I found her by googling on the internet for Piano teachers. My daughter has weekly Piano lessons and goes to Alice's house. She has started from scratch, and has been doing really well since Alice has been teaching her. Her rapport that she has with my daughter is also very good, she really puts everything into teaching her lesson and really gets on her. Each week Alice gives my daughter homework, and tells her what she could be practising, I would recommend her, and she is really good value for money too." - Parent of Zoe, 7, Beginner Piano

"Thank you so much for your tuition, it clearly made all the difference!" - Parent of Fiona, 18, A Level Music student (upon getting into her first choice university)

My Daughter has been learning the Piano with Alice Haylock for the past year and I'm delighted with her progress. Alice is very friendly, patient and is excellent at encouraging Brianna without being too pushy. As a result , my daughter is thoroughly enjoying her class and looks forward to learning new songs. Alice listens to what my daughter would like to play and is brilliant at giving her positive feedback whilst encouraging her to learn from her mistakes. She also uses incentives to motivate Brianna which works a treat! - Parent of Brianna, 7, Begginer Piano

"I first came across 'Alice Haylock' when I was searching on the internet for music teachers as I was looking for piano lessons for my two young girls. Alice has been teaching them since January this year (2014) and they thoroughly enjoy her company and her way of teaching. She is very flexible, really reliable, and my girls adore her! My two girls have one 1/2 hour piano lessons separately every week. 'Alice has done a really good job' teaching them and the girls are very enthusiastic and look forward to them. They are given progress books with stickers in them so they know how well they are doing and there is no pressure which is another benefit to relax and learn without the pressure which makes it more fun!" - Parent of Lottie, 6, and Emilie, 8, Beginner Piano
